M.B. Studio
M.B. Studio is a ceramics studio, school and artist residency in the historic center of Palmela, Portugal. Founded by Maria Bezuglaya in 2024.
The studio brings together creative individuals who want to work with clay. We offer courses, workshops, coworking, residencies and community events like Clayplay.

The founder
Maria Bezuglaya
Maria is a multimedia artist working across ceramics, glass, video, and installation. In 2014 she founded Terracoffee Ceramics in Moscow. She later earned a Master's in Ceramics and Glass (Art and Science) from Nova University Lisbon.
In 2024 she moved to Palmela and opened M.B. Studio, a space that reflects how she sees her own practice: making as a form of understanding, materials as tools for transformation.
